Julian Mr M

teacher, dancer, dj, artist, entrepreneur

Julian Mr M is a renowned Dance Educator, DJ, Event Organizer, and Cultural Ambassador with a vision to connect people through the universal language of Rhythm and Flow. His mission is to create experiences that bring communities together on and off the dance floor.

  • Founded in 2010 by Julian Mr M, Ritmo Latino London was created to celebrate and promote Latin American music, dance, and culture in London. As the umbrella company for Julian’s creative and entrepreneurial projects, Ritmo Latino London produces world-class Latin dance events and festivals, including Bachata Tuesdays at Bar Salsa Soho, London Sensual Days, and Tito’s Thursdays.

Ritmo Latino London has played a pioneering role in the growth of the UK Bachata scene, hosting concerts and events for major international artists such as Toby Love, Prince Royce, Pinto Picasso, and Dani J, and contributing to large-scale productions like Romeo Santos at Wembley & The O2 and Aventura at The O2.

The company also holds the distinction of creating the longest-running weekly Bachata night in the world, now celebrating 14 years of continuous events in 2025.

  • London Sensual Days is the flagship Bachata festival brand created by Julian Mr M in 2021, born from his vision to reignite London’s Latin dance scene after the challenges of the global pandemic. At a time when social dancing had slowed and community energy had diminished, Julian set out to bring inspiration back to the dance floor by uniting the world’s best Bachata artists with the UK’s rising talent.

The festival’s debut featured Marco & Sara, the world’s most celebrated Bachata instructors at the time, and marked the beginning of many notable dance journeys, including the first Bachata demo by Gero & Migle, now renowned international artists.

From its humble beginnings with just a few hundred attendees, London Sensual Days has grown into a world-class festival, with the April 2025 edition hosting over 1,200 dancers and a headline concert by global Bachata star Pinto Picasso.

The festival delivers more than just a party—it is a complete dance experience, blending elite workshops, breathtaking shows, and unforgettable social dancing in the heart of Central London, steps from Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, and the London Eye, at the prestigious Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel.

Over the years, London Sensual Days has hosted many of the world’s most celebrated Bachata artists, including:

Melvin & Gatica, Cristian & Gabriela, Klau & Ros, Gero & Migle, Grupo Esencia, Angela Mariano, Carolina Rosa, Leandro & Jomante, Cornel & Rithika, Dani J, Gaby & Estefy, Janis & Zoé, and Bachata Influence—with a promise to continue bringing the very best talent from around the globe to every edition.

Together with Heroes Agency, led by Phil and Alex, Julian has transformed London Sensual Days into a must-attend international Bachata festival, with a clear vision to become one of the most celebrated dance events in Europe.

  • As a DJ, Julian is known as DJ Julian Mr M, one of the UK’s most popular and influential Latin music DJs. He is recognized as the top Bachata DJ in the UK and a key figure in the global Bachata scene, celebrated for his ability to captivate dancers and partygoers alike.

Julian’s musical versatility allows him to seamlessly entertain diverse crowds, from Salsa, Bachata, and Reggaeton to Latin House, Ibiza-style House, and commercial chart hits. His skill lies not just in playing tracks but in curating journeys, blending genres and eras to keep audiences engaged and inspired.

He has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including:

    • Glastonbury Festival

    • Lovebox International Music Festival

    • Oxygen Festival, Ireland

And he has graced the DJ booths of iconic nightclubs worldwide, such as:

    • Ministry of Sound (London)

    • Pacha (Ibiza & Sharm El-Sheikh)

    • Es Paradis (Ibiza)

Julian’s DJ sets are known for fluid transitions and infectious energy, delivering what the crowd didn’t know they needed—while exceeding every expectation. Whether spinning Latin rhythms for passionate dancers or mixing Hip-Hop, club classics, and hits from the ‘70s to today for mainstream audiences, Julian Mr M transforms every set into a unique musical experience.

  • Julian Mr M is a highly respected dance instructor with over 25 years of experience teaching Salsa and Bachata. Renowned for his ability to teach all levels—from complete beginners to advanced dancers—he guides students through a disciplined and structured learning process that has earned him the title of “the teacher of teachers.”

Recognized as the UK’s most renowned Bachata instructor and an internationally in-demand teacher, Julian has shaped the growth of countless dancers worldwide. His teaching approach combines cultural expression, musicality, and technical precision, helping students achieve exceptional results in record time.

Through his Ritmo Latino Bachata Syllabus, which features seven progressive dance levels, Julian teaches dance as a language of rhythmic body movement. His Connection, Rhythm & Flow methodology, built on cultural respect, musical understanding, and attention to detail, has trained and inspired a new generation of Bachata teachers across the globe.

As a dance educator, Julian has taught at major international festivals, including:

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival, Summer Sensual Days, Madrid Esencia Festival, Johannesburg Afro Latin Dance Festival, Chicago Loves Bachata, MamboCity, Latin Motion, MotionCity, Latin Notion, Fujairah Latin Festival, and Latina Istriana Festival.

Beyond the dance floor, Julian has contributed to film and television as a dance movement coach, most recently teaching Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx Salsa for their latest film together.

Currently, Julian is developing his Teacher Training Development Programme, designed to guide aspiring dancers into the world of teaching Afro-Latin street dances, with a focus on Bachata and Salsa, cultural authenticity, and professional excellence.

  • CULTURA is the new monthly Latin dance experience created by Julian Mr M, hosted at the prestigious Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel. Designed as a celebration of Latin music, dance, and cultural expression, each edition brings together daytime workshops, vibrant dance shows, and marathon-style social dancing for an unforgettable Saturday session.

Every month, Bachata takes center stage, with a second room dedicated to Puerto Rican, Cuban, or Colombian Salsa, showcasing world-class performers and instructors. CULTURA offers London dancers the chance to learn, connect, and immerse themselves in authentic Latin rhythms, blending the cosmopolitan energy of London with the rich cultural heartbeat of Latin America.

CULTURA is more than a party – it’s a monthly cultural journey through rhythm, dance, and community.

  • Connection, Rhythm & Flow is the groundbreaking dance methodology created by Julian Mr M, designed to transform dance into a tool for personal growth, emotional regulation, and life enrichment. More than just learning steps, the CRF Methodology teaches dancers to connect deeply with themselves, with their partner, with the music, and with the moment.

At its core, the methodology is built on three pillars:

    1. Connection – Developing an emotional and physical awareness in dance that creates trust, communication, and presence with a partner and with yourself, while also strengthening the dancer’s mind-body connection.

    2. Rhythm – Learning to listen to the music beyond the counts, feeling the heartbeat of each style and allowing movement to flow organically with the music’s energy and story.

    3. Flow – Entering a state of effortless expression, where the dancer moves freely, confidently, and creatively, experiencing the joy and mental clarity that dance can bring

Through Connection, Rhythm & Flow, students progress faster, as the focus shifts from memorising patterns to feeling the dance as a language. This approach not only builds technical precision and musicality, but also trains the brain and body to experience flow states, releasing the “happy chemicals” like dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin that enhance emotional well-being.

Beyond the studio, CRF Methodology becomes a life tool. It encourages practitioners to apply the principles of connection, rhythm, and flow to everyday life—improving confidence, focus, creativity, and relationships—making dance not just an art form, but a pathway to a more balanced and fulfilled life.
